We aim to promote interest in science, engineering and technology related careers throughout Central CT schools and the communities they serve. Through the programs we support, the students develop leadership, business , teamwork and communication skills for life. The primary focus is supporting programs designed for children & young adults 18 years and younger.
SRTEA IN ACTION
The organization is exclusively operational for educational purposes such as:
- Promoting student involvement in science, engineering, computer, robotics and technology curriculums
- Promoting student involvement in robotics based competitions such as, FIRST Robotics and Vex Robotics.
- Providing a safe, structured environment for students to meet engineers, scientists, technologists, and advanced technology manufacturers.
- Providing technology education to students to improve their ability to enter the workforce upon graduation.
- Promoting a diverse learning environment open to both boys and girls of any and all nationalities, religions and other groups.
Programs We Support
The experimental learning programs we support involve professionals working alongside students and mentoring them through an annual team project building robots that compete in various competitions around the world.
